One of the better parts about owning your own business is that you get to make "Executive Decisions" without consulting anyone. We made one yesterday, during our drive into work Tuesday morning. No More Monday Lunch. Kaput. Oh. My God. What a relief that is. What were we thinking anyway, being open for lunch on Monday??? We lasted a measly three weeks, which makes us pretty wimpy I think, but honestly, it was destined for failure. We just can't work 80+ hours a week without those two consecutive days off...we need to be able to get away from it, just like everyone else. And Monday lunches were not shaping up to be too busy - although, I grant you we really didn't give it enough, time to be sure - but it was just not to be. I apologize to all who did support us on Mondays, but please, we'll be here Tuesday through Saturday for you.
