Chesapeake Foodie writes this month about another locally farm raised seafood - oysters - in the most recent issue. We got some of these Choptank Sweets from Keith of Captain's Ketch seafood in Easton, one of our main seafood purveyors. They are pretty good. Not as salty as of course you want in a Chesapeake Bay oyster, especially if you grew up eating Chincoteague Oysters, but tasty just the same. And nice and fat. We ate a couple last night, as a first course to our Sunday night supper at home. Look for them on the menu this week.
