I spent a considerable amount of time this morning updating the pictures on the web site. I try to keep them seasonal; I don't want pictures of the snowy parking lot in July, or even oysters. I want sunflowers and raspberries and tomatoes. So that means, since our web site has all these pictures on them - seasonal pictures - that they have to be changed periodically. And because these changes only come about seasonally, I forget every time how to do it...aagghh. Not that it is that hard - the Web Hosting site that I use is very, very user friendly. Bluehost. Once you get your web page written on your computer you upload it to their site and from there on out you can either make changes by uploading changes you made on your computer or right from within their copies. I have found that some things - like the menus or the events listing - it is easier for me to work on my BT pages on the computer and then upload and overwrite on the Bluehost site. Other things, like changing the pictures, are easier to update from within.
Either way, it's frustratingly fun on a Wednesday morning. And now it's finished for a couple months, until pumpkins and apples and pine trees reappear.
