Chesapeake Life Review

Well, it's out - our first "major" review is in this month's issue of Chesapeake Life. Some readers might remember my post about the photographer's visit back in February. (Why they used a picture of the lamb dish, when that was the one dish the reviewer did not like, I do not know.) Overall it's a fairly positive write-up, except for the lamb, and the service comment...that was not very positive either, unfortunately. We can only guess who waited on them, and while I would agree that there are varying levels of experience and confidence within the service staff, "inexperienced" is not a moniker you want to see your staff labeled with, even if it is "helpful". That hurt, especially since we take such pride in our service at BT. Overall however, no terrible complaints, and the pictures make the dining room look pretty inviting, IMHO. I like "rustic chic", might have to use that somewhere...but I think I'll stick with "professional and courteous" regarding our service, which I believe is closer to reality.

Kevin is whimsical...who knew??
