Apples

Kevin made the first of several trips we will take to Milburn's Orchards in Elkton on Monday, and came back with a couple of bushels of their apples. Pictured above are Rome Beauties, getting ready for the pie pan. It actually only took three to fill it up! I'm sure I have recommended Milburn's before, and with the caveat: don't go on a Sunday in the Fall, unless you have little kids. It's a mad house up there on the weekends; Mondays are more our speed.
