
My sister GG has asked how we make the cocoa syrup for my addictive MoCo - it's as easy as the Joy of Cooking. In our copy it is on page 31 - Cocoa Shake Syrup. We cut back a little on the sugar. 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup cocoa, 1/4 cup cold water: bring just to a boil over low, heat, stirring steadily. Continue to heat over hot water for 3-5 more minutes. Cool and keep refrigerated to use as needed. To make it into hot cocoa/Moco you just add 2 Tablespoons to the hot milk/coffee.
