Our recent trip to New Jersey for the Celebration of Kevin's mom's long and fulfilling life brought up many food memories for the McKinney/Hamilton clan...and one of my favorite pictures of Kevin with his mom after a long and fulfilling Christmas dinner. A classic "Chef Kevin" pose, if there ever was one, and a wonderful image of his mom laughing laughing laughing. One of Kevin's favorite dishes from his childhood was actually made by his dad for special breakfasts - called "Doodle doos". This is a combination of eggs scrambled with spaghetti...Kevin has tried to entice me with this dish, but some things are best left to the immediate family.
Great picture. She had to be a special lady. We hope she had a peaceful goodbye to this world. Our thoughts were with you this week while you were there.
