We had a regal guest at the pond behind the Mill last week - a hungry Bald Eagle, hunting over the duck and goose habitat. He flew low over the water, in search of baby goslings?, before soaring off over the trees.

Why "He"? Could not the bird be a "she" in look for precious food to feed her hatchlings?
