Wednesday's Prix-fixe

We sold out of the menu last night at 6:30.  The first course of a black bean pancake with sauce verde and goat cheese was the highlight - it got raves and perhaps a place on the regular menu.

The chicken breast, bacon wrapped, breaded and fried was tasty, even if it does look like a giant tater tot.

And the crumble filled peach half, surrounded by scoops of vanilla ice cream, had better eye appeal in reality than it does in my photo...

It was a busy night, a little hectic at times, but  a very nice crowd, happy to be out.
