Green Gold

I stepped out onto the loading dock this morning to see how our container garden made out over the "winter",  and when I looked over the edge into the bed below,  look what I saw:

Green gold!  Some of the lushest, and certainly tallest, chervil I have ever seen.  I mean, we have a lot of volunteer chervil in our garden at home too, it's almost invasive, but I didn't realize it had spilled over into the flower beds here as well!  What a treasure!  I wonder if I can talk Kevin into another batch of Bearnaise sauce?  No matter what, we need to harvest it before the boys weed it.  Looks like a huge batch of chervil butter is going on today's prep list!
