What We've Been Saying All Along

About gloves and food service: false security for the unsuspecting public: read this.  

Anytime I see cooks wearing gloves, I wonder - do they ever wash their hands with those gloves on?  No.  You watch sometime, you'll see the same thing that this article points out.  No one wears gloves in our kitchen, unless they have a cut or are allergic to shellfish or just doesn't want to get their fingers all full of hot pepper juice.  Otherwise, we all wash our hands.  Regularly.  You should do the same.
