Cherelle is so proud! And well she should be! A week ago she began taking over Angie's spot as the salad and dessert cook at lunch time, and made her first batch of cookie dough for the ice cream sandwiches. That cookie dough was the first thing she had ever made from scratch! This week - with less and less supervision - she is making everything, including two sweet potato pound cakes and this beautiful upside-down cake. Not only is she a terrific student, but she is definitely lessening my burden in the kitchen - I really don't want to be making desserts unless I want to! Way to go Cherelle!
