Pickle Making with Marty

We are going to have a pickle making demo at the restaurant on August 11 and I can't wait. My sister, Marty the Pickle Queen, makes the best bread and butter pickles in the State of Maryland, and this is certified by the number of times she has won first place for them at the Maryland State Fair. Every time she comes over to the Shore, she brings me a jar (as she had better) and by the time of the next visit I am ready for another jar. So now I will be able to learn how to make them myself, by scheduling a pickle demo in our kitchen. We've got it on the WebPage, so if you want to sign up - and there's really only going to be room for 3 or 4 visitors - send us an email. Price of admission is a $25 check made out to the Humane Society of Kent County. Not that they really have anything to do with pickles, but we like what they do there and of course we get all of our four-legged family members from there. We'll all get a jar of pickles for our efforts, which I assure you, is worth the price of admission!
