My brother asked me this morning if recent events have made me re-think this blogging thing...and you know, for a second, it did. I thought, man, if my putting these posts about restaurant life are going to damage the restaurant, that is not good. I should stop. But then the other side of my head said, hey, you knew going into it that this is the way this business is and you chose to put it on the Web. So, no, I'm going to forge ahead, letting the world in on the ins and outs of restaurant life, the good, the bad, and the unprofessional.
I definitely behaved in an unprofessional manner when I tried to reason with that young couple last night over the L.I.T. incident. And the comment from the customer certainly let me have it squarely between the eyes, for all the world to see. The good news is - if there is any - is that at least people are reading the Blog and that means they are reading about Brooks Tavern and maybe that means they'll come on in to see for themselves what crazy stuff could be going on here.
Meanwhile, the next post will be a blatant advertisement for New Year's Eve at BT.
