The Box Elder Beetle Invasion

Oh, those warm February Days...they are so wonderful for bringing out those little gnats, the drowsy wasps, the giant flies, and, apparently, the box elder beetle. The dining room is being invaded even as we speak. The worst part is, people think they are roaches...which they most certainly ARE NOT!! For one thing, they don't look like roaches; for another thing, box elder beetles love the sunlight, white walls, any kind of light. But still, you don't want them wandering across your dinner plate, or even your dinner table. I haven't spoken directly to the exterminator, but it doesn't sound like they are very easy to eliminate from your home...or restaurant. It's very annoying. Any tips will be more than welcome.
