We all had a really great time at Cafe Sado on Sunday night. Even Joy and Ashley enjoyed it, once they arrived from their real life adventure of missing the exit and going all the way over The Bridge...
My pictures did not come out at all, but maybe some of Janet's will be better. I think the food was very well received - most everyone tried something new, whether it was from the sushi menu (the eel for instance) or the seaweed salad or the fried ice cream for dessert. Ann and Emily got particularly proficient with their chopsticks, and Ashley gamely managed to cope with them for most of her meal. Lindsey, shall we say, did not like the eel, but she tried to try it! Overall it was a really fun evening; we may have to make it a regular event - and next time we'll have to bring along a few cooks as well!
