Thinking About Vegetables

We're signed up for our vegetables from Colchester Farm. We've bought things from them in the past, but it's the first time we've signed up as a member of the CSA. Kevin envisions "Colchester Farm" menu specials.

And speaking of vegetables, and purchasing locally, the turnips and cabbage we've been adding to the plates lately have been fresh from Redman Farms; even some of their wintered over broccoli has been put to good use. Soon we'll be getting asparagus from Godfrey's... We're already seeing some tips in our beds at home, and we've been cutting chives for a week or two now. Things are looking up; if only the sun would start coming out!
