My brother - who lives in Baltimore - sent me this article from the Baltimore Sun. A fire on Monday has shut Binkert's for the foreseeable future. What a tragedy...let's hope the Insurance Companies come through in a rapid manner and get them up and running again very soon.
However...I will tell you that this weekend we did have a very good dog at Our Brother's House at the Jersey Shore - made by Thumann's in New Jersey, pictured above. Really good. Almost - almost - as good as Binkert's. Nice snap, delicious flavor, very tasty. I'd get them if I could.
But Binkert's, Being Better, will Be my Best Bet in Baltimore.
