I went into the walk-in this afternoon for the watermelon we got last week from our Colchester Farm box, and when I cut it open, hey! it wasn't red!! I've never seen such a thing! A golden yellow watermelon. Isn't it beautiful? So, how'd it taste?
Not bad. A little milder than those seedless babies we've been gorging on from Redman's, which have been wonderful this summer. I'd say it tasted "waterier", if that makes sense.
But such a pretty color!
