Yeah, it's me ranting again. What is it this time, you ask? (or don't) Toilet Paper. Or rather, the slimmed down TP we got in our last case. Have you noticed that your toilet paper roll has gone from 4.5 inches wide to a little under 4 inches? Do you realize that this may mean that your TP roll no longer fits into the built in dispenser you may have in your bathrooms?
Why on earth have those corporate muckymucks done this? Now we will have to replace or refit our current dispensers, tossing the useless old ones onto the landfill, while we pay more for less once again. Don't they realize that if they had just raised the price of the paper in a fair handed manner, we wouldn't have to spend more money on new roll dispensers???
My guess is that the people who sat around that big conference table to come up with this "clever" way to make money without seeming to raise prices have never in their lives changed the roll of toilet paper in a bathroom...
