Wine List Update

A couple of new wines on our list are looking very positive, especially a new white offering by the glass - Shoofly BuzzCut. This wine is a blend of 6, mostly viognier, at 36%, and varying amounts of Riesling, chardonnay, semillon, verdelho, and sauvignon blanc. That's a lot going on, eh? Also by the glass we have a new malbec - malbec being the new merlot if you ask me, as far as what people ask for in a red wine by the glass - from Kaiken in Argentina. By the bottle we have an Oregon pinot blanc from Four Graces. The Wine Enthusiast says:

"This comes from a 15-year-old vineyard planted to Alsatian clones at a higher elevation site in the Dundee Hills. It’s lacy, racy and refined; the tangy fruit whirls around ripe apples, white peaches and hints of citrus rind. Great acid underpinning sets up the palate for food.
— P.G. "

It is every bit as tasty as it sounds.

We haven't forgotten the beer drinkers either, with Delware's own Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA and the brown ale from Williamsburg Alewerks, their "Tavern Ale". Both hit the spot.

Eat. Drink. Relax. At the Brooks Tavern.
We can help you with that!
