The Canning Season Begins!

The first batch of Strawberry Jam came out of the processing pot this morning - except for that one on the far right, which is for immediate consumption by you-know-who.  Redman's berries cooked up nice and red and taste nice and sweet!  A couple of jars are going to find their way up to New Jersey this weekend; the rest will sit in a cool dark place until they find their way into a dessert, or on a piece of toast somewhere.
