A Few Photos From BT

One of our night time dishwashers is a vegetarian, so whoever works with Matt, eats with Matt.  Recently that meal was a creamy pasta with red onions and fried polenta...I don't think anyone complained.

The vegetables of the season from Redmans are on deck - cauliflower, seen last night in a pasta dish with bay scallops, Marvesta shrimp and the cauliflower curried, and red cabbage, soon to be incorporated in a new duck presentation.

Meanwhile, there's the "pumpkin" pie...as we know, made with Joseph's butternut squash.

The Autumn Salad, new on the lunch menu, incorporates some of the same butternut squash in a more traditional manner - roasted and cubed and served tossed with greens, blue cheese, Stayman apples, and candied walnuts with balsamic dressing.  Not a bad way to get in some vegetables, eh?

Yesterday also marked the return of the much loved BT macaroni and cheese, made with that very nice Amish Cheddar we get from Chef's Warehouse.  You know fall is here now!

And who is that, waiting patiently in the classic Volare wagon?  Hope their drivers licence is in order!

(This one's for you Hugh!)
