The Making of a Special

Veal and asparagus cannelloni - the special for Saturday night - began as sheets of pasta studded with fresh parsley.  This was Kevin's first time at making pasta sheets embedded with herbs.  Here's how it went:

And there you have it.  Of course it was disappointing, after all that work, to not be able to see the herbs through the sheets of pasta...

And the mystery guest in the dining room Saturday night - he enjoyed three small plates and two large, plus a big piece of coconut cake for dessert!  He won't be able to say that he didn't get anything to eat this time!
