As most of you know, we make all of our bread here in the BT kitchen. It's sort of a three-phase event - making the dough, letting it rise, shaping the bread and baking it. (Okay, four-phase...) The process starts first thing every morning and several cooks have a role (ha!) in the procedure. Recently Cherelle has taken over the shaping of the dinner loaves, and Brittany has long had a hand (another pun!) in the making of the sandwich rolls. Here's a play-by-play:

Here's Brittany shaping the sandwich rolls. |
I tried to get a good shot of her hands, but they were moving too fast! |
The finished product. |
Cherelle, meanwhile, is working on the dinner loaves. |
She cuts the dough into pieces. |
She's going to shape each section into a loaf. |
She shapes them and leaves them for a final rise. |
Then she shapes the actual loaf. |
Voila! |
Bread for the day! Or in the case of the sandwich rolls, into the freezer until further notice. |
