Bread

As most of you know, we make all of our bread here in the BT kitchen.  It's sort of a three-phase event - making the dough, letting it rise, shaping the bread and baking it.  (Okay, four-phase...)  The process starts first thing every morning and several cooks have a role (ha!) in the procedure.  Recently Cherelle has taken over the shaping of the dinner loaves, and Brittany has long had a hand (another pun!) in the making of the sandwich rolls.  Here's a play-by-play:

Here's Brittany shaping the sandwich rolls.

I tried to get a good shot of her hands, but they were moving too fast!

The finished product.

Cherelle, meanwhile, is working on the dinner loaves.

She cuts the dough into pieces.

She's going to shape each section into a loaf.

She shapes them and leaves them for a final rise.

Then she shapes the actual loaf.

Voila!

Bread for the day!  Or in the case of the sandwich rolls, into the freezer until further notice.
