I am not sure how we could get so lucky, but Sandy spared us for the most part. We lost power at home for about 4 hours yesterday morning and early afternoon; after that it was just the fear of losing power that caused the most stress! 9 inches of rain later, the holding pond behind the restaurant - seen above - must have flowed over, and this time has taken the tree that barely survived Irene.
Hope all of you made out as well as we did.
We made the call yesterday morning to not open for lunch today, but we will be open at 5PM for regular dinner service tonight. We might have a bit of a limited menu - no deliveries today! - but I'm sure Kevin will be able to improvise quite nicely.
