Kevin has authorized me to reveal the first take of his 2013 New Year's Eve menu. It is, of course, subject to change, but this will give you an idea of what you might expect. I am not including all the garnishes that he has planned for each dish, just the basic info.
Everyone will start of with a selection of hors d'oeuvres.
First course: salmon gravlax, cured with dill, gin and juniper, or
fried medjool dates stuffed with prosciutto
and manchego cheese
Soup - choice of mussel soup with saffron, or
sweet potato soup with sausage and brie
Salad - Winter Salad with greens, endive, apples
and hazelnut vinaigrette
Entree - St.Brigid Farm veal loin with spice crusted jumbo shrimp, or
Crispy skin branzino with spinach Rockefeller
Dessert - Panforte or
Pumpkin cream roll or
Brandied cherries on vanilla ice cream
There.
Price will be similar to last year - between $55 and $65 per person. Some additional choices may become available and will be offered as "specials" that evening.
We have tables available at 6PM and 6:30, and at 8:30 and 9. Call 410-810-0012.
And please remember, this is just the first draft of the menu; knowing the market place, there are bound to be some changes, but hopefully not on the main events.
