Eat Your Vegetables

Like most full service restaurants, we get many requests for a vegetarian entree. We rarely have one on the menu - aside from perhaps a vegetable lasagna or the summer vegetable pasta we are currently serving on the lunch menu - so it is generally a spontaneous dish, using what ever is on hand and taking what ever time is available to do it. Every Tuesday our regular Vegetarian arrives to see what's for dinner - we don't even really need to bring her a menu anymore, just a glass of wine, some bread, and the plate Kevin fixes for her every Tuesday, a different plate each week. Last evening's repast is pictured above. The crepe is filled with ratatouille, and the sticks are zucchini. Tuesday's offerings are not quite the same as what the kitchen might have the time to do on a busy Friday or Saturday, but nonetheless, the "Veg Plate" is a pretty appetizing plate to behold.
