The Birthday Week Begins

Yesterday was Day One of our week of BT's Birthday celebration. We collected quite a few business cards for our Saturday drawing of a Chef's Dinner for Four. Our coupon collection was not quite as successful - we'll see how it goes on Friday. Today we are doing our menu specials - at lunch a roast beef sandwich, featuring St. Brigid's Farm top round, cooked rare, for the birthday price of $5.29 (our birthday is 5-29-2007). Tonight's prix-fixe menu will offer diners a choice between two first courses (TBD), a main course choice of Locust Point Farm chicken, or MahiMahi, and a dessert of Kilby Cream vanilla ice cream with stewed rhubarb. (the mahi and the rhubarb are far from local, but the rest of the menu is not too bad, eh?) This will cost $20.07 - get it?

Celebrating the BT Anniversary this way is going to become an annual tradition, I can tell!
