Meet, Greet and Eat!

The new favorite Chestertown event is fast approaching and Brooks Tavern is going to be there! The third annual Taste of the Town will be in Wilmer Park again this year, on Sunday April 25th. We really had a great time last year, as seen here, and figure with Andy Goddard in Charge, things will be even more fun this time around. Our "taste" is going to be a sausage slider, made in-house with St. Brigid's Farm veal. We were not able to attend the first year, in 2008, which inevitably encountered a multitude of issues, as any first year event will. Apparently the biggest problem was the huge turnout of attendees, many of whom were left unsatisfied due to the limited size of the venue. That was beautifully resolved last year, with two huge tents housing food, drink, music and auction. The weather also cooperated nicely in 2009; if anything it was a little too warm. This year should be the best yet, with two prior experiences to grow on, and we are really looking forward to offering our Tasty Morsel, along with many of our local peers in the Restaurant Business. (I am especially looking forward to seeing Sal and Vinnie there!) It will be a great time for us, and for you, to meet, greet and eat!
